John Cena Details Confronting Autograph Seekers After Being Stalked
John Cena recently detailed a tense encounter with autograph seekers who followed his car. Instead of calling security, the WWE star handled the situation directly.
Speaking on The Breakfast Club, Cena shared how he realized he was being followed. After confirming his suspicions, he instructed his driver to pull over.
John Cena Confronts The Fans
Cena said he got out of his vehicle and calmly confronted the individuals. He immediately addressed the wrongfulness of their actions.
“The guys pull over, they come out, and I’m like, ‘Dudes, get out of the car,'” Cena recalled (h/t to RingsideNews.com). “And I said, ‘What you’re doing is wrong, you know that?’ And the driver of the car is like, ‘Yeah, I know.'”
Rather than escalating the situation, Cena made them an offer. He agreed to sign their items on one condition.
“Here’s what I’m going to do: I’m going to sign your stuff,” he told them. “But please, you know what you’re doing is wrong. Just get in your car and turn around.”

A New Approach For John Cena
Cena admitted that he has changed over the years. He said his past self would have reacted with anger.
“Normally, I would just be pissed off,” he said. “Just took a deep breath… Lean in with kindness.”
He also explained why he chooses not to travel with a security detail. He said he trusts his instincts to guide him.
“I don’t use security. I don’t have an entourage,” Cena stated. “I believe that people are genuinely good… but I also listen to my instincts. If they say ‘get out of here,’ I go.”
Cena’s 2025 has been defined by his farewell tour and a historic heel turn. After becoming a villain for the first time in two decades, he shocked the world at WrestleMania 41 by defeating Cody Rhodes to capture his record-breaking 17th world championship.
As the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cena has reigned with a new, arrogant attitude, retaining his title against stars like Randy Orton by using underhanded tactics. His run is currently centered on a renewed, intense rivalry with his old nemesis, CM Punk.
After weeks of personal verbal attacks, their feud is set to culminate in a highly anticipated championship match at Night of Champions on June 28, a main event that marks a pivotal chapter in Cena’s final year.
