Kai Trump Drops Emotional Message Amid Skyrocketing YouTube Success

Over the years, golf has grown not only across fairways and clubhouses around the world, but it has also carved out a bold presence on YouTube. Big names like Tom Brady, Tommy Fleetwood, Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, Steph Curry, Michael Jordan and many others have shared their vlogs and golfing techniques with fans online.

But one of the standout young female golfers in this digital wave is President Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump. The 18-year-old began her YouTube journey in October last year and has since built a thriving community of over 3.3 million subscribers on her channel, @kaitrump.

And amid her rising YouTube career, she didn’t let the moment pass without reflection.

On Wednesday, Kai posted an emotional message on Instagram, along with behind-the-scenes pictures from her YouTube journey.

“One year ago, I started my YouTube channel not knowing what to expect … and it’s turned into something so special,” she captioned the post. “From the BTS of the election, trips with my best friends, starting senior year, and golfing with Grandpa, I love sharing my life with all of you. Thank you for every comment, like, and view — you’ve made this first year unforgettable. There’s so much more to come.”

The numbers back her up. In just 12 months, Kai’s YouTube channel has soared past 3 million subscribers, with only 188 short- and long-form videos offering fans a front-row seat to both her golf game and her personal life.

Kai Trump’s YouTube Journey

The 18-year-old’s content ranges from teeing it up with elite golfers like Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau and Scottie Scheffler to candid cooking sessions with her mother, Vanessa Trump. Over the months, she’s also shared glimpses of historic moments, including a trip to the White House and the SpaceX launch.

Her recent video, a one-on-one golf match with her grandfather at Trump International Golf Club in Washington, D.C., racked up over 3.2 million views in just 11 days.

“I had a great time with him, and he made it easy. It was really nice to film with him,” Kai reflected afterward.

It wasn’t the first time the duo teed off together. Their on-course chemistry is as authentic as it gets, with Kai openly crediting her grandfather for helping sharpen her competitive edge.

Interestingly, her digital footprint doesn’t stop at YouTube. Trump’s granddaughter has built an impressive following across several social media platforms with 3.4 million followers on TikTok, 2.5 million on Instagram, and nearly 1 million on X.
