Livvy Dunne’s Subtle Nod To Taylor Swift While Celebrating 22nd Birthday

Olivia “Livvy” Dunne posted a series of photos on her personal Instagram to celebrate her 22nd birthday.

The images were posted on the morning of Dunne’s birthday, Tuesday, October 1, with a caption from the gymnast that reads, “Woke up a lil older #22.” In the photos, the LSU gymnast can be seen in her bedroom wearing a tiara and holding a cake in one hand and a Martinelli’s Sparkling Blush bottle in the other, with balloons in different shades of pink all over the bed. She also shared a snap of her letting her dog, Roux, have a taste of the cake. The post also includes the audio to every 22-year-old Taylor Swift fan’s favorite song, appropriately named “22 (Taylor’s Version).”

Dunne has previously admitted to being a fan of Swift, 34, stating, “I’m a certified Swiftie,” on an episode of the Best of Both Worlds with Flau’jae podcast. The former USA national team member also spoke about Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, during the podcast, saying that “Travis Kelce’s super nice… he’s the man, like he’s a good guy.”

The gymnastics star has received a number of comments and tributes from fans, family and friends on Instagram, with one commenter saying, “Happy Birthday Livvy, hope your day is filled with joy and laughter, have a ball ,” and another joked, saying, “Happy Birthday! I hope Roux shared the cake with you .” Dunne’s sister, Julz, posted a throwback of Livvy’s 2nd birthday Barbie-themed celebration on her stories, saying “Happy Birthday” and “I hope you have the best day ever! I love you!” over a second slide with photos of the two throughout the years, again with Taylor’s “22” playing in the background.

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model announced on her social media accounts that this would be her fifth and final season at LSU with a caption that said “not Dunne yet.” Despite not being a competing athlete at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Dunne was seen in the capital city of France cheering on her fellow athletes.
