A major match has reportedly been set for the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel premium live event. The October 11 show in Perth, Australia, will feature the in-ring return of Roman Reigns.
According to a report from Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com, an internal WWE lineup sheet lists Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed as the final match of the night. The report also notes that the match will have a “stipulation to be determined.”
This reported main event is a direct result of the escalating feud between the newly reformed Bloodline and the Raw faction known as The Vision. Roman Reigns made his surprise return to WWE on the September 29 episode of Raw.
On that show, Reigns saved his cousins, The Usos, from a post-match attack by The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, immediately setting up a conflict with the group.

Reigns had been absent from WWE programming since the Clash in Paris event on August 31. At that show, he was attacked by Breakker and Reed and had to be stretchered out of the arena. His time away was also used to accommodate filming his role as Akuma in the upcoming “Street Fighter” movie.
The reported Reigns vs. Reed match joins an already stacked card for the Crown Jewel event. In a champion vs. champion bout, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will face World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. A similar match is set for the women, with Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer taking on WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton.
John Cena will also continue his retirement tour with a highly anticipated match against his legendary rival, AJ Styles. In a heated grudge match, the team of Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky will face The Kabuki Warriors, Asuka and Kairi Sane.
With Crown Jewel now less than a week away, the final build will take place on this week’s episodes of Raw and SmackDown. Fans can likely expect an official announcement regarding the Reigns vs. Reed match and its stipulation on one of the go-home shows.
