Orbán: Tisza is not a Hungarian party but a Brussels party
The prime minister said Tisza’s “masters” were in Brussels, and they were doing whatever they were told.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in a video posted on Facebook that the opposition Tisza party “is not a Hungarian party but a Brussels party.”
In an interview with Andras Hont, PM Orbán said Tisza was “financed and maintained from abroad, with leftist oligarchs and the European Union in the background.”
PM Orbán said Tisza’s “masters” were in Brussels, and they were doing whatever they were told.
“A party that, if it gets an opportunity, openly fulfils the will of leftist oligarchs and its Brussels masters in Hungarian politics” is going to be a challenge to sovereignty protection in the next period, he said.
The political battle in the next election will also be about “Tisza not getting an opportunity,” he said.
“Some things never change, Brussels still gives commands to Hungary’s opposition,” he added to the video in a comment.
