Sanders appears to have movement in his extremities, which is a great sign. Had he not, then the head injury could point to something very serious in terms of a spinal cord injury or worse.
Sanders will now likely undergo testing at the stadium and potentially be sent to a local hospital should the injury require far more extensive testing. Either way, the hope is that the Panthers’ tight end did not suffer any sort of extensive damage to his head and or neck.
Sanders was drafted in the fourth round out of Texas. The Panthers selected him at No. 101 overall. During his time playing with the Longhorns, he secured 1,295 yards and seven touchdowns.

Sanders has emerged as a solid and young tight end for the Panthers. Hopefully, he has not suffered any sort of extensive damage from landing on his head. More details will come out regarding the testing, and the young tight end will be given an injury update likely within a few hours.
