PM: Home renovation program to be extended to pensioners
The prime minister said there will be a rural home renovation program and support for those receiving old-age pensions or pre-retirement benefits.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán highlighted in a post on social media on Tuesday that there is a rural home renovation program for families in settlements with fewer than 5,000 residents. “We will expand this so that pensioners can also avail of it,” he said.
PM Orbán said there will be a rural home renovation program and support for those receiving old-age pensions or pre-retirement benefits. Over two years some HUF 90bn will be allocated to rural pensioners living in settlements with fewer than 5,000 residents, he added.
If it goes well, the program will not only continue after two years but support will also be increased, he said.
