Predicting Top Landing Spots For Suns’ Devin Booker Following Latest Drama
The Phoenix Suns have been one of the bigger disappointments around the NBA this season. Phoenix entered this season ready to prove everyone wrong and reclaim their status as a top team in the Western Conference.
With their star trio of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, the Suns believed they could compete for a title. But with only a few weeks left to go in the regular season, Phoenix is currently on the outside looking in of the playoff picture.
This has caused tensions to rise around the organization and head coach Mike Budenholzer recently called out Booker in a meeting.

It remains to be seen what the Suns will do with Booker but they could look to move him this summer. Or the guard could ask for a trade out of the organization as well.
If that were to happen, here are the best landing spots for the four-time All-Star guard:

4. Los Angeles Lakers
This one may be a stretch due to the two sides being rivals but Booker has been linked to Los Angeles multiple times. Pairing him alongside Luka Doncic and LeBron James could be lethal for any team to have to guard.
Los Angeles would likely need to part with guard Austin Reaves and they could put together a decent trade package to send back to Phoenix.
3. Brooklyn Nets
The Nets are setting themselves up to have a massive offseason due to cap space and draft picks. Booker could be the start of a fresh era in Nets basketball and other players would certainly love to play alongside him.
Brooklyn could offer the Suns a nice haul for the star, making a deal possible if Phoenix was willing to move him.
2. Miami Heat
After losing Jimmy Butler, Miami needs another star to pair with Bam Adebayo. Booker could be the perfect piece for this team and the two sides are familiar with each other due to the Butler trade talks.
Booker could head up the backcourt in Miami for years, giving them a legit one-two punch.
1. Orlando Magic
Pairing Booker with Paolo Banchero could be lethal for the Magic. Orlando needs shooting and Booker has been a marksman from beyond the arch throughout his career.
The Magic are looking to take that next step forward in the Eastern Conference and Booker could help. This team also likely has the pieces needed to facilitate a deal with the Suns. Orlando makes a ton of sense for the All-Star guard.
