Putin Oversees Russian Nuclear Exercise

Russian President Putin has launched a nuclear exercise today with “practical launches of ballistic and cruise missiles,” according to Russian news outlet RIA Novosti.

He is reported to have said: “Today we are conducting another training of strategic forces. Deterrence. We will work out the actions of officials to manage the use of nuclear weapons with practical launches of ballistic and cruise missiles.”
