A lawsuit filed Wednesday says the artificial intelligence (AI) start up Anthropic has been using personal data of Reddit users to train it’s AI models, according to a report from CNBC.
Reddit is a social media platform and aggregation site where users can engage in a variety of topics, pose questions, and get answers from other users.
The lawsuit alleges Anthropic engaged in “unlawful and unfair business acts,” adding that it the organization “is anything but” the “white knight of the AI industry.”
Reddit has already been using AI via Google and OpenAI for it’s Reddit answers section.
