Rick Ware Racing Announces Insane 12-Race Partnership After Huge NHRA Move
Rick Ware Racing has just announced a new 12-race partnership with Arby’s, set to begin in 2025.
The sandwich chain, known for its roast beef sandwiches and “We Have the Meats” slogan, will now serve as a main sponsor for RWR in the NASCAR Cup Series.
Previously, Arby’s sponsorship was limited to selected NHRA and NASCAR events, but this expansion will see their logo take center stage on the No. 51 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, driven by Cody Ware, at 12 NASCAR races. The sponsorship’s debut will take place at the Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend.
The team shared to social media:
“‘We Have The Meats.’ @Arby’s has joined as a primary partner across our #NASCAR and #NHRA teams. 12 NASCAR Cup Series races with Cody Ware, beginning this weekend at ATLMotorSpdwy. 2 NHRA Top Fuel events with @ClayMillican, including the #USNats.”

Arby’s has chosen to increase its involvement with RWR, largely because of successful partnerships in the past. The relationship between the two brands originally started with NHRA driver Clay Millican, who, under Arby’s sponsorship, won the U.S. Nationals.

Jeff Baker, Arby’s Chief Marketing Officer, commented:
“RWR provides Arby’s with a high-profile platform to engage both our customers and franchisees in an exciting and meaningful way.
“It’s a high-speed opportunity to fuel fan engagement and reward those who foster great customer experiences.”
He added:
“The U.S. Nationals is where our partnership with RWR began, and you couldn’t have scripted it any better.
“Clay Millican won and Rick Ware was there, hands-on with his race team. It was eye-opening to see the teamwork, the attention to detail, and the dedication everyone at RWR put into their respective roles.
“It’s why we partnered with RWR again for the NASCAR Cup Series race last October at Talladega, where Cody Ware put the Arby’s car out front. Both races were on network television, and the excitement it generated among our franchisees was palpable. It was an easy decision to come back with RWR in a much greater capacity in 2025.”
Rick Ware Racing, founded by Rick Ware, has been a part of the motorsport scene for many years. The racing team competes in both the NASCAR Cup Series and NHRA events. RWR includes the No. 51 Ford Mustang driven by Cody Ware, who is Rick Ware’s son.

Rick Ware himself also commented:
“We’re extremely proud to expand our partnership with Arby’s for 2025 and beyond.
“This renewed commitment is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and progress we’ve made as an organization.
“From the shop to the track, every member of this team has been focused on improving our performance, strengthening our brand, and delivering value to our partners.
“To have Arby’s recognize that effort and invest in an even bigger way speaks volumes to the commitment we’ve made to motorsports and the partners who support us. We’re ready to build on this momentum and achieve even greater success.”
