Trump faces 34 felony counts, accused of falsifying business records to conceal reimbursement of hush money that his former attorney Michael Cohen paid Daniels during the 2016 presidential campaign. Daniels testified last week that she and Trump had an extramarital affair in 2006 and that the payment was to hide her story, although the former president denies ever having a sexual encounter with Daniels.

Speaking with CNN’s Erin Burnett Tuesday evening, Blade spoke about the ongoing trial’s impact on his wife, saying he hopes Daniels can “move past” it after a verdict is reached.

“If Trump is found not guilty, I think there is, I mean, either way I don’t think it gets better for her,” Blade said. “I think if it’s not guilty, we got to decide what to do. Good chance that we’ll probably vacate this country.”
