What People Are Saying
Target said in a statement on its website: “Our guests, your safety, is our highest priority. For this reason, we maintain a comprehensive list of our recalled products.”
In a previous email to Newsweek, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said: “Most recalls in the U.S. are carried out voluntarily by the product manufacturer and when a company issues a public warning, typically via news release, to inform the public of a voluntary product recall, the FDA shares that release on our website as a public service.”
What Happens Next
Organizations such as the FDA and Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) update product recall notices on their respective websites regularly.
Newsweek has also compiled a list of products recalled from CVS Pharmacy shelves as of February 10, and a full list of FDA and FSIS recalls in January.
