Taylor Swift Speaks Japanese to Crowd During Tokyo Concert

Just when the world thought Taylor Swift couldn’t be any more impressive, having just scooped two Grammys, she rocked up to her Tokyo Eras Tour yesterday and spoke Japanese.

The chart-topper picked up gongs for Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year for Midnights. She also dropped a bombshell during one of her acceptance speeches, announcing that she is releasing her new album The Tortured Poets Department on April 19.

Fresh from her win, the jet setter headed to Tokyo for the Japan leg of her tour, which ends on Saturday. She is then rumored to head to Las Vegas to support her partner Travis Kelce and his team, Kansas City Chiefs at the Super Bowl LVIII.

Swift would need to jump on a U.S.-bound flight shortly after wrapping her final Tokyo show to make the approximate 11.5-hour flight and attend the Super Bowl. Tokyo is 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas, which would help her with her ambitious potential journey.
