Timothée Chalamet ‘SNL’ Announcement Shocks Fans
Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek’s network of contributors
Timothée Chalamet will not only host the January 25 episode of Saturday Night Live — he’s also set to be the musical guest.
SNL shared the news on Friday, January 10, revealing in their trademark Post-it announcement that the Complete Unknown star, 29, will be doing double duty on the second episode of Season 50. (Dave Chappelle will host the first episode of 2025 on January 18; Glorilla will be the musical guest.)
Considering Chalamet is known more for his acting chops than his musical talent, fans immediately rushed to social media to share their shock at the announcement.
