Titans HC Brian Callahan Makes Final Decision on Will Levis Starting in Week 10
Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan said quarterback Will Levis will start on Sunday. Levis has been sidelined by an AC joint injury that he sustained on Sept. 30, although he tried to play the following two weeks.

Levis and company will face a strong Los Angeles Chargers defensive unit in Week 10, it’ll be the first time Levis has played since Oct. 13.
In his absence, Mason Rudolph has played the last three games for Tennessee. Rudolph recorded 215-plus passing yards and a score in each of the three starts.
Levis was a full participant in Thursday’s practice, an indication that he would be ready to go for Sunday’s matchup with the Chargers.
“I am competitive as heck, and I want to be out there every week,” Levis said via the team transcript. “It sucks when you’re out there and can’t be playing. So, hopefully I’ll be able to go this week. I’ve been champing at the bit, and excited to go out there and lead our team.”
Levis believes he is going to show improvement in his return to the gridiron and he will certainly be challenged by Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter’s scheme.
“I am just going to try to operate the offense the best way that I can,” Levis said. “I feel like I’ve gotten better, and I think I’ll show improvement in that area. But I am not going into this second stint of the season being like: ‘I have to play this way, or another way.’ I think you can get into trouble when you think like that. I am just trying to operate the offense, and just try and be the best quarterback I can for this team.”
The Chargers defense has allowed the fewest points to date this season, meaning Levis and company have a tough task ahead of them.
The Titans sit at 2-6, while the Chargers have a 5-3 record. Tennessee is hoping to add a third win to their record at SoFi Stadium Sunday, but Jim Harbaugh’s squad won’t go down without a fight.
The Chargers have won their last two games, while the Titans beat the New England Patriots last week. The Tennessee defense will have to hold down a stellar Justin Herbert.
It’ll be a challenge for the Titans, especially on the road, but a win against Los Angeles could prove to be the start of an upward trend for Tennessee.
