Ukraine Strike on Russia’s Shahed Drone Hub Sparks Chain Detonations
Ukraine’s military has said it successfully targeted a base in Russia which contained drones used in its full-scale invasion, causing multiple detonations.
Ukraine’s General Staff said the attack struck the base near the village of Oktyabrsky in Russia’s southern Krasnodar region.
In a statement on Telegram, it said that 400 Iranian Shahed drones were stored at the site and video shared on social media showed explosions lighting up the night sky.
This is a breaking news story and will be updated shortly.
