‘Wordle’ Today #1,360 Answers, Hints and Clues for Monday, March 10 Game

Some Wordle challenges can be more difficult than others, which is why Newsweek has come to your aid with hints and clues to beat the game.

Wordle, created by Welsh software engineer Josh Wardle, was first released in 2021, after which it spiked in popularity and was sold to The New York Times in 2022 for an undisclosed seven-figure sum.

Wardle told Newsweek in a 2022 interview that he came up with the idea for the game during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to entertain his partner and himself. Wardle said: “[My partner] and I play it on the couch together each morning. She will consistently get it in three goes, which is way, way better than I can ever hope to achieve. I normally need at least four or five attempts.”

How To Play ‘Wordle’

Wordle‘s popularity grew due to its simplicity, as the game gives users five chances out of six attempts to guess the daily five-letter word before the answer will be revealed. Green tiles indicate the correct letter choice, while yellow tiles suggest that the letter is in the wrong place, and gray tiles mean that the letter is not in the word at all.

The single-player app remains free to use, and there is no time limit in which users need to guess the word.

A 2022 study found that the game is most popular among Gen Zers and millennials.
