WWE Fans Stunned By Surging WrestleMania 41 Ticket Prices
Professional wrestling is more popular than ever, with WWE raking in record profits and constantly breaking gate records.
This has resulted in WrestleMania becoming a premiere live event that is one of the most beloved in the entire world.
Accordingly, it looks like it’s going to cost fans a pretty penny if they want to go to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Fans have become infuriated over the surging prices of WrestleMania 41, with seats in the nosebleeds going for thousands of dollars on Ticketmaster. And that’s before any fees kick in.
Content creator Peter Sark shared receipts comparing the price of WrestleMania 39 tickets versus the price of tickets for WrestleMania 41.

“What I paid TOTAL for 2 nosebleed seats for 2 day combo tickets at Wrestlemania 39 SoFi Stadium Los Angeles VS [how] much 2 day combo nosebleeds are going for [in] Wrestlemania 41 Las Vegas,” Sark said, sharing pictures of the different prices. “What is happening?”
Comparing the prices, tickets have increased from $252.54 to $5,332.24, an increase of over 2,000 percent.
Meanwhile, X user Don Morin revealed that he paid over $4,600 after fees.
“No wonder you keep bragging about breaking gate revenue records, [Triple H],” Morin said. “Keep gouging your fans, [WWE].”
While it would be easy to point the blame solely at WWE in this situation, Jeremy Fuster of The Wrap pointed out that a large issue with the surging prices is because of Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing.
“But the anger over the presales also stems from Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing model, which adjusts the prices of tickets for high demand events in real time based on fan interest,” Fuster said.
“The model led to widespread backlash last year after tickets to see music artists like Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen soared as high as $5,000, and the model is being blamed by WWE fans for making WrestleMania tickets even more exorbitant.”

According to Fuster, this dynamic pricing model is being investigated by the European Commission and the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority.
“The only winners in this situation are big ticketing platforms, at the expense of fans who find themselves priced out of gigs,” Dutch European Parliament member Lara Wolters said, via The Guardian. “This is not a system that seeks to maximise joy by filling the stadium with an artist’s biggest fans, but to maximise profit from music like any other product.”
Still, there’s no doubt that WrestleMania 41 is going to do unbelievably well. After all, everyone who is sharing their receipts have already bought their tickets.
The fact of the matter is that as long as professional wrestling gets more popular, the more expensive it is going to be to see these major events live.
