WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event January 2025 Predictions
WWE is looking to continue the success of Monday Night Raw’s Netflix debut with the first big event of the year: Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Saturday Night’s Main Event in December proved to be a predictable but fun two hour event. Hopefully, this weekend’s show will have a bit more surprises but don’t count on it.

Anyways, here are some predictions for Saturday Night’s Main Event January 2025.
World Heavyweight Championship: Gunther (c) vs. Jey Uso
Jey Uso’s entire persona at the moment is built around himself being the main event of whatever show he’s on. That being said, he has never won a world title, and he didn’t hold the Intercontinental Championship that long.
However, this weekend won’t be the time to change that. Gunther will likely come out looking strong ahead of the Royal Rumble in order to make him look like a dangerous opponent for whoever wins that event.
Winner: Gunther
Women’s World Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax
Nia Jax has become a true terror over the past year, winning Queen of the Ring and the WWE Women’s Championship.
She’ll be going against the newly crowned Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, who just so happens to be one of the most popular pro wrestlers in the world.
I highly doubt that WWE will take the title off of Ripley so soon into her run, so Jax will more than likely eat the pin.
Winner: Rhea Ripley
Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Sheamus
Sheamus has been pushing hard to win the Intercontinental Championship, the one title he hasn’t won in WWE. While he’s more than deserving, it would seem odd for him to win it in a match with little at stake and at an event that isn’t a Premium Live Event (PLE).
Bron Breakker is tough, and he will more than likely pull out a victory over the Celtic Warrior. Sheamus will surely be back, though, more than likely on the biggest stage of them all.
Winner: Bron Breakker
Braun Strowman vs. Jacob Fatu
This is easily the most difficult match to predict on the card. While it’s clear that WWE wants to build up Jacob Fatu, this is also Braun Strowman’s first match back from injury.
In the end, Strowman will likely succumb to Fatu when he is assisted by the other members of the (former) Bloodline. However, there’s also a chance that Strowman could win via disqualification, so take this prediction with a grain of salt.
Winner: Jacob Fatu
