California woman allegedly killed her 72-year-old landlord

PHELAN, Calif. (TCN) — A 57-year-old woman stands accused of killing her landlord, who went missing last week.

The investigation led detectives to a home in Phelan, where Margaret Minier lived and rented from Kum. Officials searched the property and reportedly discovered human remains. The sheriff’s department did not say how the victim died.

Authorities arrested Minier, and she faces a charge of murder in connection with Kum’s death.
