Missouri woman suspected of killing her husband found dead from possible overdose
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (TCN) — The sheriff’s office recently announced that they discovered the body of a woman they suspect might have killed her husband.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, authorities found Robert Malcom deceased on Aug. 30. Investigators believe his wife, Stacy Jay-Malcom, was responsible for the victim’s death and allege she may have been hiding or taken medication.
On Sept. 7, a property owner located Jay-Malcom’s remains in a wooded area and contacted the sheriff’s office. Her cause of death is under investigation, but investigators found evidence of a possible overdose.
According to the sheriff’s office, detectives will continue to work on the case, and no other persons of interest are being sought at this time.
