N.H. teen allegedly pushed Porta Potty over while woman and her young daughter were locked in
MANCHESTER, N.H. (TCD) — Police arrested an 18-year-old man for allegedly pushing a Porta Potty over while a woman and her young daughter were locked inside.
According to a statement, on May 8, a woman contacted the Manchester Police Department and said she and her 4-year-old were trapped inside the portable toilet at Derryfield Park and they were “covered in feces and bodily fluids.”
Witnesses reportedly told responding officers that the woman and the suspect, Aiden Studer, had been arguing before the incident. The young woman went into the Porta Potty to help her daughter, then Studer allegedly tipped it from behind. The door landed on the pavement, so they were unable to open it. Bystanders helped lift the Porta Potty back up, which freed the mother and daughter.
Manchester Police said the two victims did not sustain any injuries. Additionally, Studer and the adult female reportedly did not know each other.
Studer was arrested on two counts of criminal restraint, two counts of criminal mischief, and simple assault on a police officer for “throwing something at one of the officers.”
