Naked Florida man accused of robbing a meat market

LAKE CITY, Fla. (TCN) — A man has been arrested for allegedly robbing a meat market while dressed in only a face covering, authorities say.

On Dec. 29, 2025, the Lake City Police Department announced that they responded to a call Dec. 23, 2025 regarding a robbery at BJ’s Meat Market. Employees reported the suspect was naked except for a face covering. Upon arrival, authorities determined no one had been harmed.

WPEC reports the authorities viewed surveillance footage and then established a perimeter around the store to track the suspect. Soon after, 25-year-old Kobe Watkins was arrested. He received a medical evaluation before being booked into the Columbia County Detention Center on counts of robbery with a weapon, exposure of sexual organs, grand theft, and criminal mischief.
