Amanda Riley, also known as “Scamanda,” bilked tens of thousands of dollars from family, friends, church members, and strangers alike by claiming she had terminal cancer. Scamanda eventually got caught in her lies and pleaded guilty to wire fraud. She’s serving time in federal prison but could be released within a year.
