Woman allegedly targeted elderly men on dating apps and burglarized homes
LOS ANGELES (TCN) — Authorities are searching for a suspect they allege targeted elderly men on dating applications and burglarized homes.
According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, Adva Lavie allegedly posed as a girlfriend or companion before stealing from victims’ homes throughout Los Angeles County. Deputies allege she contacted elderly men via social media dating platforms or apps.
The sheriff’s department said she is around 5-foot-7 and is known to drive a black Porsche SUV and a white Mercedes-Benz sedan.
