5-Hour Party at MVM Dome

A five hour concert consisting of Depeche Mode’s well known songs will be performed by Hungarian artists on November 27th at the MVM Dome.

The 101 Voices Depeche Mode Special Tribute production features 101 artists (the number refers to the British band’s 1988 American concert album titled 101). “The production is created by fans for fans. The MVM Dome will be the first stop of the 101 Hang concert series on November 27th, after which the project will start and tour major European cities, ” said the show’s director, Balázs Petke.

The musicians will perform songs from the iconic band such as Enjoy the Silence, Wrong, Strangelove and Walking in My Shoes, among others, at the MVM Dome. A fifty-piece symphony orchestra and the 45-piece Hungarian National Male Choir will also be performing on stage.

During the concert, different musical solutions will continuously alternate, on which each song is based on. The artists and organizers have one thing in common: everyone is a Mode fan.

Depeche Mode has been founded in 1980 and is still active today with two founding members, Martin Gore and Dave Gahan. The british band’s music can be classified as synthpop and new wave. It is still a successful and well-known band that has a significant fan base in Hungary.
