Budapest Coffee Week 2025: A Celebration of Specialty Brews and Café Culture
Budapest Coffee Week, showcasing the capital’s coffee culture, will be held from September 22 to 28. Participants can sample specialty coffee shops’ offerings, special roasts and signature drinks, as well as take part in workshops and professional programs, turizmus.com reported.
The event will focus on Budapest’s best cafés, roasters, and baristas. The organizers are preparing special tastings, workshops, limited-edition coffee drinks, and unique programs.
The aim of the event is to showcase Budapest’s diverse coffee culture, from specialty cafés’ artisanal roasts to creative signature drinks. Participants will get a glimpse behind the scenes of coffee making, learn the basics of sustainable coffee consumption, and meet local and international coffee experts.
The program is extremely diverse: there will be a coffee cocktail workshop, numerous cupping sessions, and latte art workshops. Participants can also discover the gastronomic connections of coffee, for example, at a chocolate and coffee pairing tasting. Happy hour promotions and a daytime party will round out the week’s community experiences.
More than 60 cafés are participating in the event, including VAJ, Madal Cafe, Kastner Kommunity, Kelet Kávézó és Galéria, nor/ma grand, and Kontakt.
The central element of the event is the “Coffee Passport,” which guides visitors through the most exciting locations.
