Coffee Day Returns to Millenáris Park with Tastings, Competitions, and Cocktails

Coffee tasting, coffee cocktails, and competitions await the public at Coffee Day on Saturday in Millenáris Park.

This time, the organizers are welcoming visitors at a new location: Hall D of Millenáris Park will be transformed into a huge café, where roasters, coffee distributors, coffee machine dealers, and baristas will be waiting for guests.

The tenth Hungarian Amateur Barista Championship will be held in the morning, and in the afternoon, visitors can cheer on the participants of the Roastino sample roasting competition.

The event will feature an exclusive accompanying program, the exclusive Costa Rica Cup of Excellence tasting, where participants can taste thirty top-quality coffees.

The entire harvest of these coffees was purchased at an international auction by winning roasters from all over the world, at prices exceeding 100,000 forints (250 euros) per kilogram.

At the event, the public will be able to taste at nearly thirty exhibitor stands: in addition to coffee roasters, tea merchants, beverage retailers, and chocolate makers will also be present, and the admission price includes coffee drinks, cocktails, and spirit tastings, according to the organizers.
