Guns N’ Roses and Katy Perry Headline Budapest’s 2025 Concert Scene

Budapest is set to become a musical hotspot in 2025, with global superstars scheduled to perform in the Hungarian capital. Guns N’ Roses will return to the Puskás Arena on July 15, while pop icon Katy Perry will take the stage of the MVM Dome on October 27.

Following their electrifying 2023 performance, Guns N’ Roses is back in Budapest as part of their European and Middle Eastern tour spanning May to July, reports Magyar Nemzet. The 24-date tour will include their debut performances in Saudi Arabia, Georgia, and Luxembourg, alongside stops in countries like Serbia, Italy, and the UK.

The band, formed in 1985, has sold over 100 million records worldwide. Known for hits like Sweet Child o’ Mine and Welcome to the Jungle, they achieved legendary status with their debut album Appetite for Destruction, remaining the best-selling U.S. debut album of all time. Their Not in This Lifetime… Tour from 2016 to 2019 became the fourth most successful concert series ever, drawing over five million fans.

Hungary holds a special place in the band’s history, having hosted them three times before: in 1992 at Népstadion, in 2006 at the Papp László Budapest Sports Arena, and in 2023 at the Puskás Arena. Fans can expect an amazing setlist featuring classics like November Rain, Paradise City, and iconic covers such as Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door.

In addition to the well-known rock band, Katy Perry, one of the best-selling music artists of all time, will bring her Lifetimes Tour to Budapest on October 27. Known for her spectacular live performances, the tour showcases her greatest hits, including Firework –filmed in Budapest- and Roar, surpassing four billion views on YouTube.

With over 70 million albums sold, 115 billion plays, and accolades including MTV and RIAA milestones, Perry’s influence on pop culture is undeniable.

She remains the biggest-selling female artist in Capitol Records history and boasts over 57 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

This marks her second performance in Hungary, following her 2010 concert at the Papp László Budapest Sports Arena. Fans can expect a dazzling show featuring her iconic tracks alongside recent hits from her album 143.

With the return of Guns N’ Roses and the long-awaited arrival of Katy Perry, Budapest’s 2025 concert calendar promises an unforgettable year for music lovers.
