New leader of Hungarian Minority in Slovakia Receives Prime Minister’s Congratulations

László Gubík, the newly elected president of the Slovak Hungarian Alliance, received a letter of congratulations from the Hungarian Prime Minister.

In his letter, Viktor Orbán praised Mr. Gubík for proving himself to be a true community man who can stand firm against challenges and attacks. He expressed confidence in László Gubík’s leadership abilities, wishing him strength and success in the “man-testing” tasks that lie ahead.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, the Alliance’s leader shared his gratitude for the Prime Minister’s message, emphasizing its significance as more than just well-wishes.

He noted that the letter represents a genuine desire for the enrichment of the entire Hungarian nation in Slovakia.

Mr. Gubík also mentioned that János Nagy, Secretary of State of the Prime Minister’s Office, personally delivered Mr. Orbán’s message during a visit to the Esterházy Academy, further highlighting the importance of his new role.

Through this exchange, both László Gubík and Viktor Orbán reinforced their commitment to the Hungarian community, emphasizing collaboration and support moving forward.
