From March 12 to 15, 2026, Budapest Honvéd FC will host an international U15 tournament featuring European star teams, including Paris Saint-Germain, Atalanta B.C., FC Elche, Spartak Moscow, and NK Maribor, the club announced.
As the president of the Budapest Honvéd FC sports club explained in a Facebook video, it is a great honor to host an international tournament of this kind for 15-year-olds at the academy.
“The Budapest Honvéd academy is one of the best in Hungary, as demonstrated by the results of our youth teams and the number of young players available to coach Tamás Feczkó,” said Péter Szijjártó.
International teams such as Paris Saint-Germain, Atalanta, Spartak Moscow, Maribor, and Elche will be guests in Budapest with their age-group teams,
the president announced in his video. “If anyone wants to see good youth football, if they want to see how the star teams train young players, then they should visit the Hungarian Football Academy or the Bozsik Arena and watch our young players compete against Europe’s top teams,” he added.
As the club reports in its announcement, the six teams have been divided into two groups of three. According to this, Paris Saint-Germain and Elche will face each other in Group A alongside the Hungarian team, while Spartak Moscow, Maribor, and Atalanta will compete against each other in Group B.
The group matches will last 2 x 30 minutes, the matches on the last match day 2 x 40 minutes, and will be played at the Budapest Honvéd Akadémia, but the placement matches on the last match day will be played at the Bozsik Arena.
Admission to both complexes is free of charge.
