Kit Harington, known to most as Jon Snow, one of the main characters in Game of Thrones, has been spotted in Budapest. The British actor was seen enjoying some downtime at Sarki Fűszeres in Újlipótváros.
Actress Emilia Clarke and actor Jason Momoa also recently appeared in the capital, so Harington’s arrival marks the third time that actors from the very famous Game of Thrones series have been spotted in the capital this year.
The actor’s next role will be in the BBC One series A Tale of Two Cities, an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ 1859 novel.
The series will present the story of a former French aristocrat and an alcoholic English lawyer, who fall in love with the same woman amid the turmoil of the French Revolution.
According to earlier reports by Budapest Reporter, filming for the series will begin in Budapest in September, hence Harington is likely in the Hungarian capital for this reason.
