Sunday’s election will go down in Polish political history because of a dramatic turn of events. Initially, Rafał Trzaskowski, woke mayor of Warsaw was leading the race, as preliminary results pointed to his victory. However, as the night progressed the results changed in favor of Karol Nawrocki, supported by the conservative Law and Justice Party (PiS).
Marcin Romanowski, former Polish Deputy Minister of Justice, who is currently residing in Hungary as a political refugee reacted to the results of the Polish presidential election.
In Poland, by God’s Providence and the determination of the people, David has defeated Goliath,”
wrote Marcin Romanowski, adding: “We have won a vital battle—and launched the counteroffensive of the sovereigns. But the struggle against the enemies of freedom, God, family, and nation is far from over.”

Exit poll results of the second round of the presidential election were announced at 9 p.m., shortly after the polls closed. According to an exit poll by Ipsos, Rafał Trzaskowski won 50.3% of the vote, while Karol Nawrocki won 49.7%. The Civic Coalition candidate had even prematurely announced his victory and introduced his wife as the First Lady.
Everything changed with the Ipsos late poll published at 11 p.m. As it turns out, Karol Nawrocki had overtaken Rafał Trzaskowski, although the difference between them was still small. Nawrocki received 50.7% in this poll, while Trzaskowski gained 49.3%. Nawrocki’s lead began to grow from that moment on, and his victory was later confirmed by official data published by the National Electoral Commission.

Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of Poland, remained cautious and refrained from any premature celebrations, quickly leaving the Civic Coalition’s post-election party after Trzaskowski’s speech. Interestingly, the prime minister did not give a speech during the election night either and has yet to congratulate the winner of the elections.
In the meantime, congratulations have been pouring in for Karol Nawrocki. Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister of Hungary wrote:
What a nail-biter! Congratulations to President Nawrocki on his fantastic victory in the Polish presidential elections. We are looking forward to working with you on strengthening the Visegrad cooperation.”

Underdog Karol Nawrocki edged out Obama and Soros backed liberal candidate! I am told that globalist PM Tusk is now also in trouble with his fragile coalition taking another hit.”
