said József Váradi, CEO of Wizz Air, adding that the milestone reflects more than two decades of bold decisions, persistent innovation, and the passion of thousands of colleagues and partners, while also proving that the airline’s strategy is working and its momentum is stronger than ever. Wizz Air launched an international competition for the unique design, bringing together designers, enthusiasts, and employees from around the world and strengthening the energies of creativity and togetherness. The winner of the competition was a Hungarian entrant, Balázs Hauser, and the final livery was designed based on his ideas.

To celebrate this milestone, Wizz Air has also launched a campaign offering discounts of up to 30 percent on certain flights for travel between December and March 26, 2026.
