Sanders calls for conditioning US aid to Israel

Biden has acknowledged the high toll for civilians in Gaza and expressed concern about Israel’s adherence to international law, but he has repeatedly opposed a cease-fire and continues to work closely with Israeli officials.

Sanders has faced criticism from other progressives for refusing to join them in pushing for a cease-fire.
