2025 MLB MVP Race, Odds: Aaron Judge, Cal Raleigh in Heated Contest

One MLB MVP race is still a race, and in the other, the leader has lapped the competition.

Let’s take a look at the odds for which two players will separate themselves from the rest by winning MVP at the end of the year, with odds from DraftKings Sportsbook as of Sept. 22.

American League MVP 2025

Aaron Judge: -150 (bet $10 to win $16.67 total)
Cal Raleigh: +110 (bet $10 to win $21 total)

What to know: For as amazing a season as Raleigh is having, Judge is still Judging. The Yankees superstar is leading MLB in batting average (.326), OPS (1.123), WAR (9) and slugging (.672). He’s fourth in home runs (49) and he’s eighth in RBIs (105), all while leading the AL in runs scored (130). Sheesh. Raleigh has been phenomenal, breaking the Mariners record for home runs in a season and leading baseball in the category (58). He is also leading the AL in RBIs (121). This one is coming down to the wire.

National League MVP 2025

Shohei Ohtani: -20000 (bet $10 to win $10.05 total)
Kyle Schwarber: +1900 (bet $10 to win $200 total)
Juan Soto: +2500 (bet $10 to win $260 total)

What to know: The NL MVP race is not as hotly contested. Last season, Ohtani became the first player in league history to record 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases, and this season, he became the first player in league history to hit 50 home runs and record 50 strikeouts. Another sheesh. Ohtani is looking to win back-to-back NL MVP awards for the first time since Albert Pujols did it in 2008 and 2009. He won the AL MVP in 2023 and NL MVP in 2024, making him the first player in MLB history to win MVP back-to-back in each league.
