Blue Jays vs. Dodgers Live Updates, Score: Top Moments From World Series Game 7
It all comes down to this. After six hard-fought games, in which the momentum has shifted back-and-forth between the Dodgers and the Blue Jays, the World Series will be decided in a Game 7 tonight in Toronto.
Shohei Ohtani will return to the mound for the Dodgers tonight just four days after throwing six innings (93 pitches) in Game 4. The Dodgers lost Game 4 6-2 but Ohtani only allowed two runs and six hits. This postseason, he has a 3.50 ERA and has struck out 25 batters in 18 innings.
Max Scherzer will start for the Blue Jays. This is the second time Scherzer has started in a World Series Game 7, with the latest time being in 2019, when he won the World Series with the Washington Nationals. Scherzer, 41, is the third-oldest player in MLB history to throw in a World Series Game 7, and is 10 years old than Ohtani (31).
